Privacy Policy

This is a placeholder while the formal Privacy Policy for the Raqami Events ticketing platform is being prepared. The platform is operated by Raqami Technology (raqamitechnology.com).

What we collect

• Your name and email address when you register or buy a ticket.
• Order details (event, ticket type, quantity, amount, timestamp).
• Check-in records (when you scan in at an event).
• Server access logs (IP address, browser, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. Retained 30 days.

What we DON'T collect

• Payment card numbers — processed by Stripe directly, never seen by us.
• Tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies.

How we use it

• To deliver tickets, process check-ins, and contact you about the event you signed up for.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and double-scanning.
• To comply with applicable law.

Email communications

This platform currently sends ticket-delivery emails manually rather than through an automated mail provider. You will receive emails only from tickets@raqamisecure.com or hello@raqamitechnology.com.

Data sharing

We share data only with the event organiser whose event you registered for, the payment processor (Stripe) when payments are made, and our hosting provider (which holds the encrypted database backup).

Your rights

You can ask us to: (a) tell you what data we hold about you, (b) correct it, (c) delete it (where this is compatible with our legal obligations and any active event registration). Email hello@raqamitechnology.com to exercise any of these rights. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

This platform uses a small number of essential cookies for login sessions and security. No marketing or analytics cookies are set.
